Yosumin!

Yosumin!, a puzzle game from Square Enix, has hit the western shorelines. Sporting cartoonish graphics and a soundtrack not unlike Nintendo’s Kirby games, this puzzle game reminds you a lot of Bejewelled, save for the gameplay. In Yosumin!, you are to connect the corners of a rectangle of matching colors in order to clear the game screen. As with most puzzle games you may have ever played, the difficulty in finding these rectangles gradually escalates as you progress in levels. There is a playable flash demo available to get a feel for the game, though apparently the Xbox and PC versions sport flashier graphics and an “adventure” mode. Check it out, you may just waste ten minutes of your life
